QR codes are relatively new in the United States but have been used extensively in Japan since the 1990s. They are becoming more common in the U.S and are being used more and more to advertise and bring information to mobile customers. QR Codes and smartphones combine to make an enormous amount of information available from a very small plaque. Having already been involved in web design, adding QR Codes to create Memorial websites was a natural progression.
